Your Role in the Pack
💼 Role Type
Casual position with an initial three-month probation period to assess performance, suitability, and overall fit within the team.
This is a secondary designer role, supporting the Lead / Primary Designer.
There is strong opportunity for ongoing and increased work if it’s a great mutual fit and your work consistently meets Wolf Web Designs’ standards.
📍 Location
Applicants must be based in Perth.
This role is fully remote, working from your own space.
Meetings, check-ins, and collaborative build sessions will be scheduled on an as-needed basis, depending on project workload and timelines.
🕒 Hours & Structure
This role is split into two parts:
1. Minor Website Changes & Fixes - You’ll assist with smaller Wix website tasks such as:
Content updates
Layout adjustments
Styling tweaks
Mobile responsiveness fixes
Bug fixes and issue resolution
These tasks help keep client websites running smoothly and free up the primary designer’s time.
2. Full Website Builds (When Required)
When the primary designer is backlogged, you’ll be assigned full Wix website builds, working within Wolf Web Designs’ established processes, templates, and quality standards.
Important:
Hours are project-based and flexible, increasing during busy periods. There are no guaranteed weekly hours, but consistent work is available for the right designer.

You’ll need to be:
Responsive during standard business hours for project communication
Available for meetings or collaborative sessions when required
Able to meet agreed deadlines and turnaround times
Specific schedules are flexible and discussed per project.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept
🔧 Minor Website Changes & Fixes
Implement content updates provided by clients or the account manager
Fix layout, spacing, and mobile responsiveness issues
Improve usability and visual hierarchy
Resolve bugs, broken elements, or functionality issues
🧱 Full Website Builds
When assigned full builds, you will:
Build complete Wix websites based on provided briefs, wireframes, or reference sites
Follow Wolf Web Designs’ design systems, structure, and best practices
Ensure sites are clean, scalable, and easy for clients to manage post-handover
Prepare websites for launch, including final checks and polish
🔍 SEO Implementation (Must-Have)
SEO is a core requirement of this role. You will be expected to:
Implement on-page SEO best practices
Optimise title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and content structure
Ensure clean URL structures and logical page hierarchy
Apply SEO fundamentals consistently across all builds
🤝 Collaboration & Workflow
You’ll work closely with:
The Primary Designer
The Account Manager
Internal briefs, templates, and approval processes
Clear communication, reliability, and organisation are essential.
Do You Have What It Takes?
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
Strong, proven experience with Wix (non-negotiable)
Ability to show a portfolio or live examples of Wix websites you’ve built
Confidence working independently and meeting deadlines
Strong eye for layout, spacing, and UX
Solid understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals
Clear, professional communication
🎓 Highly Desirable
Experience with WordPress and/or Shopify
Familiarity with different industries (eCommerce, services, trades, health, etc.)Experience or interest in Google Ads
